In this series, Morrison reappropriates pages from gay pornographic magazines he secretly bought and hid away as a closeted teenager - the only depictions of male intimacy available to him at that time. The models are physically removed from these pages using a white synthetic rubber eraser designed for ink, a process that reflects the erasure of his own sexuality during adolescence. Morrison then hand-embroiders over the resulting blank spaces from behind, allowing the thread to "haunt" the absence of the queer body that remained present even when unseen. By transforming material once hidden in shame into tender, nostalgic art, the work creates a visual dialogue with a generation that grew up in the shadows.
